Description
Water-Jel Burn Dressings are made with a scientifically formulated cooling gel, utilising medical-grade nonwoven pads to deliver effective relief and healing for burns. They are non-adherent so they will not stick to burn injuries. The dressings are soaked in a water-based/soluble, bacteriostatic and biodegradable gel and are also sterilised to ensure a contamination-free atmosphere for emergency treatment of burns.
All Water-Jel Burn Dressings have a 5-year shelf life from the date of manufacture.
Water-Jel Burns Dressings can be applied directly to the burn without the need for pre-cooling allowing for fast and effective treatment of the burn injury. It also takes no special training to give fast and effective emergency burn care for any type of burn injury with these dressings.
To help with application, each burns first aid dressing has a Total Body Surface Area (TBSA) icon that indicates approximate total body surface area covered with the use of that dressing.
