So what's the difference between an original (OEM), remanufactured and compatible toners?

OEM stand for original equipment manufacturer toner cartridges. These are toner cartridges that are manufactured by the printer companies, such as Brother and HP for example.

Remanufactured and compatible toner cartridges are both manufactured by third party companies, but the manufacturing process differs significantly. In compatible toners, an entirely new product is created while remanufacturing makes use of spent cartridges.

What are the benefits of using a compatible or remanufactured toner?

The biggest benefit of using a compatible toner is the price! Compatible and reman toners can be up to 50% cheaper than the original versions so you can make massive savings by giving them a try.

The big printer brands would have you believe that compatible toners don't offer the same quality as OEM's. This may have been the case years ago, but today, compatible toners offer the same high quality of print as the original brands. To back this up, most complatible and reman manufacturers offer a quality guarantee with their products - making it a safe and certified option for consumers.

Apart from saving money, purchasing compatible toner cartridges conserves the environment because its manufacturing process is heavily dependent on recycled material. In most cases, most spent cartridges end up in a landfill in their millions.

A normal cartridge is made up of non-biodegradable material that takes an average of 300 years to decompose completely. So when you buy a re-manufactured or compatible toner, you have played a part in creating a sustainable environment.

And on top of all the above - we're offering you a complimentary bottle of wine when you order 2 or more compatible toners - a little thank you for giving them a try!
